Hang Seng Indexes Company said on Friday that the Hang Seng HK-US TECH Index will be updated by adding SpaceX to the designated US-listed constituent list, as the rocket and spacecraft manufacturer will debut on June 12.
The current US-listed constituents of the index include the Mag Seven companies, it added.
The weightings of these 8 US-listed constituents will be recalculated to equal weight after market close on 23 June, which marks the seventh trading day of SpaceX.
Meanwhile, the constituent addition and the new constituent weightings will be effective on 29 June (the 11th trading day of SpaceX).
